FAS offers a variety of metallurgical testing services. These services include but are not limited to the following:

The metallurgical services are provided through Kappes, Cassiday & Associates (KCA). KCA is the parent company of FAS.

KCA has been recognized as specialists in the testing and field application of cyanide technology since 1972. Since 1990, KCA has expanded its testing capabilities to include all forms of hydrometallurgical processing techniques for precious metal as well as base metal ores. KCA's laboratory group has completed both bench-scale as well as pilot-scale testing on acid-chloride leach systems as well as acid-sulfate leaching systems.
